AMATS Background
Back in the March of 2005, Giovanny Arias, a good friend and coworker of Julio, made a comment to Julio to start their own Management and Maintenance Service Company. From that small comment a plan was created, a company name was chosen, and after receiving tons of input from several customers, AMATS was born. At first, this company arrangement was solely created for a few small, part time jobs, but the business started to pick up faster than they had ever imagined. The calls for business came in and it wasn't too long that they pick up their first GIV contract for none other than Enrique Iglesias. It was at this time that Giovanny made the decision to go full time with the Company. Now with over 15 employees, the Company is still growing at a fast pace, doubling every year.

Hector is our Ace Pilot in Command. He has flown a wide range of aircraft from a single engine aircraft to the big wide-body 767 Boeing, not to mention that he has over 25,000 Flight Hours. And if you can keep a secret, I’ll let you know that he also has an A/P license. So not only can he fly, but he can also get down and dirty. Some of the aircraft that Hector has flown as Pilot in Command are the Boeing 727-200/300 series, Boeing 757-200 series, Boeing 767-200/300 series, Hawker HS 125-400/600/700/800 series, Gulfstream 1159 GIII and GIV and DH-2X (4 Engines Reciprocating Aircraft).
Hector also has a Bachelor of Science and a second Degree in Education, and has also flown as a Flight Engineer with Boeing 727, L1011, and A300. Hector has experience, is very friendly, and loves to talk about Aviation. How did AMATS found Hector? He just happens to be a personal friend of Giovanny and Julio.
